Today was such a fun day. Jarah and I had our first day our together with no kids. We both took the day off from work and went to Six Flags over Texas.
We started out the day running a few errands once we dropped off the kids at school.
Around 10:00 am, we arrived at Six Flags. It was so much fun not to be in the kid's section of Six Flags and watch the younger generation go ride on all the 'adult' rides. We rode on the Batman ride, the boat ride and others. We waited in line for lunch at Papa John's Pizza for about 30 minutes. The park was filled full of teenagers from all over the place. I think all of the schools decided to take their field trip today. The longest we had to wait was 30 minutes for a ride. After lunch, we rode this roller coaster called Runaway Mountain. It was totally in the dark. I was not expecting this fast and in the dark roller coaster. We look forward to riding more rides in the future.
On some of the rides, I took my little camera that I normally mount on my R/C Helicopter. I have put together a little video from the 'Acme Rock-N-Rocket'. Its this ride where you sit in a huge boat and it goes around in a circle upside down. The video has been included. Yes, that is me screaming!
After we left Six Flags, we ran some more errands before picking up the kids.
I started the craziest project after dinner. In front of our house, we have these bushes that have crab grass in front of them. Mosquitoes use this grass as a breading ground. Jarah mentioned that it would be nice to get rid of those little crab grass plants and see what we can do with it. It was so nice night tonight, in the 70s, that I decided to rip them out. I took out about eight feet of crab grass. It was tough. I also trimmed the bushes before pulling them out.
It was bath time and ready to get the kids to bed after that....
We ended the day watching 51st Dates.

Ty's Birthday and Mother's Day
We went out to Tom (Ty's Brother) yesterday and then went to my Mom's for a Mother's Day celebration. It was so fun getting together with the families. I love hanging out with Jessica & Russ' Family and the Jonny & Tiffany's Family. We need to get together more often.
I got some workout tapes for Mother's Day and some really great cards. It was really cute while be were picking out cards there was a lady next to us who said it was her first Mother's Day. She had a 10 week old. I remember my first Mother's Day as a new Mom. I can't believe this is my 9th Mother's Day. I love being a Mom and taking care of my 3 children. Happy Mother's Day to everyone!

Allergies?
I really didn't feel well this week. I was sneezing and my nose was running. I can never tell if it's allergies or a virus. I still went to work because it wasn't that bad. It would have been harder to make sub plans. I actually didn't feel bad at all just tired. I can home Thursday and sleep from 6-8 and still went to bed at 10. That was so nice!
The kids are all doing well. Sabrina keeps saying she doesn't want to play soccer. She has refused to practice the last 2 times. We take her and then she will only sit on the bench. Katelyn has practiced for her the last two times. We love Sabrina's coach and are not to fond of Katelyn's coach. The strange thing is Sabrina plays so well. She is so cute out there. Oh well what can you do. We'll have to try something else for to do. Katelyn and Jason both say they want to play in the fall.
Only 5 more weeks of school! I had applied for Summer School but then decided I wanted to play with my kids this summer and Ty's family decided to have a family reunion in July. So I got a e-mail that said I had been selected for Summer School and to go to a meeting. I e-mailed back and said could I just sub. Then I could do it if I wanted or not. I didn't go to the mandatory meeting so I figured I was good. Then I got another e-mail saying congratulations I have been selected to teach summer school. So I sent another e-mailing saying please take me off. Luckily I got a conformation e-mail saying I'm off the list. I was a little worried I wouldn't be able to get out of it. Could I plead sick all summer? :)

I'm an awful blogger
I'm an awful blogger! I have so much going on but it never seems like I have anything to say. We had a very busy weekend. KK had an 8:00 soccer game. Then Ty took the kids to Grapevines adventure day. They rock climbed, shot bows and arrows, jumped in a bounce house, and fished. KK now wants to go fishing and eat a fish. She asked me if we could make our own fish sticks. This coming from the girl who doesn't eat fish sticks now. She is goofy. Then Sabrina had a soccer game and then they came home and put Jason down. I love it that he still takes naps!!
While they are out playing I was taking a multimedia class. I learned how to use Photo Studio and Movie Maker. I want to do a end of the year slide show for my class. I think that would be so fun. I reminded my of my college days-editing film together. It was so much fun.
Well I'll try to be a better blogger.

My First Post
It has been such a busy week. I can't help but think about how fast time is going by. I wish it would go a little slower. It was Spring Break and we had lots to do.
Monday - We went out to Dee Dee's to see her new house. Then we went to meet Mom and Dennis to see Horton Hears a Who. When I got to the theatre, the girls had left their shoes at Dee Dee's but we didn't have time to go back and get them; so I drove over to Payless and bought two pairs of sandals. I made the girls stay in the car. I was so mad that they left their shoes. Especially at Katelyn because she asked me to get her shoes for her and I told her it was her responsibility to get her own shoes. Then she just decided not to bother. I told them they didn't get to pick new shoes. They left their other shoes I got to pick. I bought the cheapest shoes I could find and then we went to the movies. I thought it was cute.
Tuesday - I had a Dr.'s appointment where he kept going 'Now that your 30...' I'm not sure how I feel about that. Then we went to McDonald's with my visiting teachers. The kids had fun playing.
Wednesday - We went to the Dr. for Katelyn's 8 year well check and Jason's 4 year well check. Katelyn had to get one shot and Jason has to go back on Monday for four shots. That should be fun. Katelyn was so funny. She cried a little and acted like she couldn't walk. That lasted until she got a sticker and then she forgot to act like her leg didn't work. We went to the Dallas Museum of Science and Nature. It was so much fun. I was worried about Jason's finger getting sand in it at the dinosaur dig but we just put two band-aids on it and it did fine. He got it caught in a shopping cart on last Friday and now his nail is coming off. He has been such a trooper. I know it must bother him.
Thursday - We went and had lunch with Ty. I wish he could have been off a little this week but he had to work. It saw nice to go have lunch and then come home and rest. The girls let me take a nap with Jason.
Friday - We went to the Dallas Zoo. I lost Jason within the first 5 minutes. We were all walking together to rent a stroller and I look up and he's gone. We looked in the gift shop and by the carousel. Then we retraced our steps and still couldn't find him. This all took about 5 minutes. I hate that feeling when that happens. I went to the information booth and told them I couldn't find my son. The guy said right this way. I walk into the office and there is Jason. They said a lady had brought him in. The woman said she asked him if he could tell then my name and he said he couldn't. He was crying and he held on to me so tightly. I told Ty we need a key finder for Jason. We could put it in his pocket and I would just push a button and he would beep. After all that, then we had a good time. The weather was perfect. I brought the kids bathing suits and they played in the water at the children's area. They had such a good time.
Saturday (Today) - We got up early and went to Six Flags. We have season passes. The kids road so many rides and I got a funnel cake. :) It was busy but we got to do a lot. We left around 2 o'clock to come home. Ty and I had to get ready to go to Riverdance. We had bought tickets for our anniversary (10 years on the 28th). Jessica took care of the kids for us. We went to the 5 o'clock show. It was great. I love dancing.
We have Monday off too. I'm not ready to go back to work. I need one more week. ;)
